“I wrote this song about a relationship I was in, the tension and the passion colliding, it felt like I was in the middle of a hurricane, yet somehow it made me come out the other side as a stronger person”, clarifies Kris. The song was initially recorded in a little attic studio in Rotterdam with Dutch musicians Guido Joseph from Chef Special on most of the instruments on the album and well-regarded Marnix Dorrestein on guitar; it was later re-visited and remixed in New York with Likeminds slick production skills.
